It belongs to the Oshaykino rural settlement , before the 2006 reform, it belonged to the Kirov rural district [2] . According to the 2010 All-Russian Census, the permanent population of the village was 19 people (6 men, 13 women) [1] .
Content
Geography
It is located about 10 km east of the regional center - the urban village of Lotoshino . The Ozernia River flowing into the Lama flows nearby. The nearest settlements are the villages of Brenevo , Sologino , Uzorovo and Plaksino .
Historical Information
Until 1929, it was part of the Osheikinsky volost of the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district of Moscow province .
According to 1859, the village of Shekchino (44 yards, 322 inhabitants - 152 men and 170 women) [3] , according to 1890, the number of male souls was 139 [4] .
The materials of the All-Union Census of 1926 featured Big and Small Chekchino [5] :
- Big Cecchino - 386 inhabitants (182 men, 204 women), 71 peasant farms, schools, village councils ;
- Small Chekchino - 259 inhabitants (113 men, 146 women), 50 peasant farms.
The village is the mass grave of Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 [6] .
