Intellipublia is software developed as part of a pilot project to reform the common information space of the US intelligence community . Developed on the MediaWiki engine, Intellipublia, similarly to Intellipedia , forms a user collaboration environment.
The Intellipublia subsystem is a Joint Product Line .
A joint product line allows you to combine official publications with the operational placement of text inserts of external users. Users can use and compare the “authorized” versions of the product with the current version. Placing labels in the text (in the form of a logo of an official body) means that the content has been viewed and approved by authorized representatives of that body. In addition to logos, color labels are also used, such as “team leader” and “final decision”. After the final approval of the content, the logo of the official body is placed at the very top of the page. Logos of a certain type show that someone from this institution made edits, but does not have a high status for checking the content. This product is developed on a modified version of MediaWiki software and saves the editing history.
