Blurred Lines is the sixth studio album by American singer Robin Tick , released July 12, 2013 in the Federal Republic of Germany , on July 30 in the UK and the USA via Star Trak Entertainment and Interscope Records . TI , Farrell Williams , Kendrick Lamar , 2 Chainz , will.i.am and other musicians and producers took part in the recording. The album headed the UK charts ( UK Albums Chart ) and USA ( Billboard 200 ) [10] [11] .

About the album
Blurred Lines received mixed reviews from music critics and online publications [3] [4] [7] [8] [9] . Based on an analysis of 16 reviews out of 100 points, the Metacritic site gave the album only 58 points [12] . The main and self-titled album single “ Blurred Lines ” became the international hit number 1, leading many charts of the world, including the American ( Billboard Hot 100 ), British ( UK Singles Chart ) and others ( Australia , Germany , Canada , France ) [13] [ 14] . In August 2013, Robin Tick became the first artist since November 2012, who managed to simultaneously lead both main US charts (the single Billboard Hot 100 and the landscape Billboard 200 ). The last time they did it was Rihanna with the song Diamonds and the album Unapologetic (November 2012) and Adele with the song Set Fire to the Rain and album 21 (February 2012). In August 2013, Robin Tika’s Blurred Lines CD was No. 1, and the song of the same name was the first among singles in the US for 9 weeks. Considering that the disc and the single R.Tika also headed the UK album and singles charts, this quadruple success is also the first after the mentioned works of Rihanna. And among male performers, this happened for the first time after Kanye West , who in 2007 led on both sides of the Atlantic with Graduation and Stronger [11] [15] .
