Göril Snoroeggen ( Norwegian Gøril Snorroeggen ; born February 15, 1985 , Trondheim ) is a Norwegian handball player playing in the position of left defender. At the moment, without a club, her last team was the Danish Esbjerg.

Career
Club
A pupil of the school club “Kattem”, at the age of 16 years old she joined the “Biosen” team on the advice of her parents. At the same time was fond of football. She made her debut in the national championship in 2003, from 2005 to 2007 she was the vice champion (in the 2004/2005 season she became the top scorer [1] ). In 2007, she reached the final of the Cup Winners Cup, since 2010 she defended the colors of the Danish Esbjerg [2] . In the summer of 2013, Geril suspended her performances due to the fact that she was going to continue her studies at the medical university [3] [4] .
Team
Geril played 102 matches and scored 224 goals. The debut took place on October 22, 2004 in a duel against France . Göril has two victories at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games [5] , as well as a victory at the 2011 World Championships (plus the 2007 silver medal) and two gold medals at the 2004 and 2006 European Championships. In January 2013, Geril took a break in appearances for the national team [6] .
Personal life
A native of the Trondheim district of Kattem. Meets with football player Alexander Lund Hansen [7] . There is a sister Marte , also a handball player.
