Izberdy (station)

Izberdy - railway station of the Southeast Railway on the Michurinsk - Gryazi line (double-track, electrified line ). It is located in the village of Petrovskoye, Petrovsky district, Tambov region between Nikolskoye and Peskovatka stations. Within the station there are stopping points 439 km and 449 km .

The station building is similar in design to the station in the city of Novy Oskol, Belgorod Region .

History

It was opened in 1869 as a station of the Kozlovo-Voronezh railway , which was later extended to Rostov-on-Don . From the time of construction until 1898, the station was called Muravyovo by the name of the owner of the village of Petrovskoye, Major A.P. Muravyova.
