Story

The film takes place in the Lebanese village of Deir Mimas near the border of the territories temporarily occupied by Israel . The 16-year-old Lebanese girl Lamia ( Flavia Behara ) lives here with her family, her relatives promise to give her in marriage to their cousin Sami (Edmond Haddad), who lives on the Israeli side. Due to the inability to cross the border and minefields, relatives on both sides communicate through megaphones, so the Israeli soldier Yousef (Meher Bsaybes), who serves on the border tower, learns a lot about Lamia, who also often launches a kite with her younger brother very close to the border. Watching each other only at a distance, they fall in love with each other.

The very ending of the film looks surreal, and therefore can be interpreted in different ways.
