Content
History
The village begins to be mentioned from 1710 - 1711 . In the period from the XVIII to the 1st half of the XIX century, the population of the village belonged to the category of state peasants . In pre-revolutionary sources, it was known as the Lower Ediger (Yadiger). Administrative affiliation of Lower Shuban in different years [2] :

Geographical position
The village is located in the north of Tatarstan, in the southwestern part of the Baltasinsky district, in the southwestern part of the rural settlement, on the banks of the Shuban River. The distance to the district center ( Baltasi urban-type settlement) is 7 km. The absolute height is 96 meters above sea level [3] . The nearest settlements are Upper Shuban , Tau-Zary , Hasanshaikh , Karaduvan .
