Biography
The representative of the Polish noble family Firleev coat of arms " Levart ". The youngest son of the governor of Lubelsk and Russian Peter Firlei (d. 1553 ) and Katarzyna Tenchinskaya. The elder brothers are the marshal the great crown Yan Firlei ( 1521 - 1574 ) and the governor of Lubelsk, Nikolai Firlei (c. 1531 - 1588 ).
Active supporter and promoter of Calvinism . In 1569 it is mentioned in a rank of the royal secretary. In 1576, Andrzej Firlei received the position of Lubelsky chestnut . In the same 1576 he was elected marshal (chairman) of the crown diet.

He was married to Barbara Shrenskaya (d. 1588 ), from a marriage with whom he had one son and two daughters:
