Club career

Lazaridis began his professional career in Australian clubs “ Florit Athena ” and “ West Adelaide ”. In 1995, he left the Australian Championship and moved to England , where he spent most of his career playing for West Ham United and Birmingham City . At the end of his career, Lazaridis returned to his native Perth in 2006 , where he became a player in the Perth Glory club. In January 2007, the banned substance Finasteride was found in Lazaridis doping test, as a result of which he was disqualified for 12 months, and soon after the termination of the disqualification he ended his career.

Career in the national team

As part of the national team Lazaridis spent 60 matches, no goals were noted. Took part in a number of international tournaments, the 1997 Confederations Cup , the 2000 Olympics , the 2001 Confederations Cup and the 2006 World Championships .
