Club career
The first club of Robert Khalaijyan was “ Ararat ”, in which he debuted at the age of 17. In the 1976 season I scored 4 goals for my team - 2 each in the spring and autumn championships. In the following seasons he failed to distinguish himself and in the summer of 1978 he moved to Kotayk . Totally, Khalaidzhyan has 39 matches in the USSR Championship .
As part of Kotayk, he played until 1983, and later played for other clubs of the Armenian SSR - Spartak ( Oktemberyan ) and Lori ( Kirovakan ).
International Career
In 1977, he participated in the final tournament of the World Youth Championship as part of the USSR national team and became its winner. At the tournament played 2 matches.
