Small, 5.7-6.0 cm in diameter, 13 mm thick in the center and 37 mm at the edges, round nests are built at a height of 2-6 m above the ground. In the clutch there is one oval white plain egg measuring 26–31 x 17–22 mm. Both parents incubate, the female is usually at night, and the male during the day. The timing of the incubation and feeding of the chicks is unknown.
