Ulyanovsk (train)

In December 1993, the fast corporate train “Ulyanovsk”, according to the certification results, was indicated by the Ministry of Railways No. M-966u of December 15, 1993 as the “corporate” category and the name “Ulyanovsk” ^[1] .

In 2004, the Kuibyshev Railway spent more than 18 million rubles on the project to upgrade two trains of the Ulyanovsk fast company train. Reconstruction was carried out from October to December 2004 . As a result, 36 wagons were updated (10 reserved seats, 16 compartment, 4 CB, restaurant car, staff car, mobile left-luggage office) ^[2] .

In 2006, due to an unfortunate incident - the rude treatment of the guide with mourners and passengers - he lost the title of company, but only for two months. During this short time, tickets were cheaper than usual. The conductor was fired, re-certified and the train No. 21/22 Ulyanovsk - Moscow again became branded. Currently, tickets for a branded train Ulyanovsk - Moscow cost one and a half times more than for simple fast trains ^[3] .

Starting November 29, 2011, the branded train of the Gorky branch of OAO FPK No. 57/58 Yoshkar-Ola - Moscow was transferred to the Kuibyshev branch of OAO FPK and combined with the schedule of the branded train No. 21/22 Ulyanovsk - Moscow . ^[2] .
