Biography
From 1984 to 1986 he was an actor at the theater-studio "At the Nikitsky Gate" . Then he began to write in different genres, the first publication was a journalistic article in the newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets (1984). It was published in Literaturnaya Gazeta , Ogonyok , Sovetsky Screen , and Nezavisimaya Gazeta . In 1990, the story “Final Results” was published in the magazine Grani.
In 1990 he graduated from the VGIK scenario faculty (workshop of O. A. Agishev, V. V. Tulyakova).
From 1992 to 1996, he took part in the work on the first Russian series “Little Things in Life” and other series, and wrote for the television program “OBA-NA”.
In 1998, he composed the script for the movie “The Recluse” based on his novel “The Zealot” (directed by Yegor Konchalovsky).
In the 2000s, he began working as a producer.
In 2002, he was awarded the F. N. Plevako Gold Medal for contributing to the development of the legal profession and increasing the role of the prestige of advocacy as the creator of the series “The Line of Defense”.
From 2004 to 2007, the scriptwriter and co-producer of the television series "Balzac Age, or All Men Are Their ...".
In 2006, he received the prize of the VII Open Russian Festival “Smile, Russia!” For the script of the film “Big Love”.
