The area is located northwest of the central part of Turku.
Population
In 2004, the population of the district was 2,956 people, of which children under 15 years old - 13.26%, and over 65 years old - 25.37%. 93.78% spoke Finnish as their native language, 4.30% spoke Swedish, and 1.93% of the population spoke other languages.
