Description
The carabiner bolt is longitudinally sliding, rotatable, collapsible (which is very convenient for maintenance during operation, cleaning and lubrication) [1] .
The TOZ-78 has a cocking pointer: with the cocked hammer, the firing pin moves back beyond the inclined end of the cap;
The trigger mechanism has the ability to control the triggering force and the trigger stroke. The adjusting screws are located in front of the trigger, the front screw regulates the descent force, the back screw - the course of the descent. Also, the trigger mechanism has a safety lock from a shot by accidentally pressing the trigger.
Single-row sector shops - for 5 and 10 rounds [2] .
Mechanical sights consist of a closed, adjustable vertically and horizontally front sight and an open four-position sight with graduations of 25, 50, 75 and 100 m.
In addition, a 2.5-fold optical sight is mounted on the TOZ-78 carbines on a bracket, the design of which allows it to be moved along the receiver and shoot with an open sight, without removing the optical one.
A number of parts used high-strength light alloys and composite materials [2] .
Warranty life of the carbine is 15,000 shots [2] .
