History

The Krasnovsky volost was formed in 1922 by the merger of the Krasnovskaya, Vasyutinsky and Petrovsky volosts of the Yegoryevsky district. The administrative center of the volost was the village of Krasnoe ^[1] . During the reform of the administrative-territorial division of the USSR in 1929, the volost was abolished.

In 1926, the Krasnovsky volost included 5 villages, 1 village, 2 urban-type villages and 32 villages
