Biography
He graduated from the Belarusian Conservatory (Belarusian State Academy of Music) with a degree in Igor Luchenka and Dmitry Smolsky in 1986 .
He trained under the leadership of Sergei Slonimsky at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and took part in the Ton de Leyuve master classes there.
In 1991, on his initiative, he was organized in Minsk at the International Festival of Contemporary Chamber Music, which was held every two years until 1995.
From 1997 to 1999 he received a scholarship from the Polish Government, on the basis of which he worked in Gdansk at the Academy of Music named after St. Moniuszko over a work for the symphony orchestra "Barbara Radziwill" and the Studio of electroacoustic music of the Academy of Music in Krakow on his own creative project. Participated in the acanthe 2000 / Ircam summer courses.
At the National Composers Competition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Francis Skorina (1991), he received the 2nd prize for the symphony “Lux aeterna” for tenor, choir and symphony orchestra to the words of Leon Emilith, which premiered on March 21, 1997 during the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of Gdansk ( Baltiysk Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, choirs of the Academy of Music and the University of Gdansk, tenor - Pyotr Kusevich, conductor - Zygmunt Rychart).
