November 12, 1981 was ordained a priest .
On May 18, 1999, Pope John Paul II appointed Jacob Liu Danguy as auxiliary bishop of the archbishopric of Taipei and titular bishop of Akkia . On August 14, 1999, Jacob Liu Danguy was ordained bishop by Archbishop Joseph Di Gang , accompanied by Bishop Taichung Joseph Wang Yuyong and Bishop Peter Liu Zhengzhong .
December 4, 2004 was appointed bishop of Hsinchu .
May 30, 2005 resigned.
