History
The construction of the Holy Trinity Cathedral began in 2011 at 92 Korolenko Street. In order to build the cathedral, representatives of the Lugansk diocese of the UOC-KP privately purchased two land plots along Korolenko Street [1] [2] .
In December 2012, the chapter [3] was installed on the cathedral.
The consecration of the temple took place on July 20, 2013 with the participation of Patriarch Filaret . During the consecration ceremony, about 30 supporters of the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine , the Kievan Rus party and the organization of the Don Cossacks held a protest rally against the head of the UOC-KP [4] .
The diocesan administration, a Sunday school, a library work in the territory of the church, and in the winter a dining room for the homeless [5] .
