Creativity
According to N.I. Krymova, Everland's poems written at the beginning of the 20th century are marked with the seal of sadness and loneliness. In the 1930s, Everland protested against capitalism, support for the Popular Front in Spain and the position of the USSR (collections “I conjure you”, 1934; “Red Front”, 1937). However, he condemned the Stalinist repression. During the Second World War, Everland praised the anti-fascist struggle (“We Will Survive All,” 1945). In the post-war years he composed poems (“Smoke Candle”, 1960; “On Mount Nebo”, 1962), short stories, plays, worked in the field of linguistics, and was an opponent of modernism .
In the brochures “Is our language canceled?” (1940) and “How often will we change the language?” (1948) actively opposed the synthesis of ricksmole and lansmole [7] .
