Biography
Stefan Danailov was born on December 9, 1942 in Sofia .
In 1956 , at the age of 14, he made his film debut, starring in the film “Traces Remain.” In 1966 he graduated from VITIZ (now NATFIZ ), workshop of S. Sarchadzhiev , M. Andonov and A. Mikhailov . In 1968 , Stefan Danailov played the main role in the film "The First Courier", filmed jointly by Soviet and Bulgarian filmmakers. In the future, he actively starred in films of co-production (“Brother”, “Julia Vrevskaya”, “Shores in the Fog”, “Big Game”, “Trap”), which brought the actor great popularity among Soviet viewers. In 1969 , the multi-part television film “At Every Kilometer” was released, in which Danailov appeared as the fearless major of Bulgarian intelligence Nikolay Deyanov.
