The African Championship in International Drafts for Men 2012 was held from May 6 to 17. It was attended by 20 athletes from 10 countries. First, preliminary rounds (two subgroups of 10 players each) went through the round robin system, then the four best of the group played playoffs. The champion of Africa was Jules Atse , representative of Côte d'Ivoire , the second place was taken by Cameroonian Charles Akoi, the third place was also taken by Cameroonian - Tomi Mbongo.
