Dominic Alexander Casanovsky ( 1605 - 1648 ) - statesman and military leader of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth , full crown clerk ( 1637 - 1646 ), governor Bratslavsky ( 1646 - 1648 ), the elder Boguslavsky and Zvenigorod .

Biography
Representative of the Polish magnate clan of the Casanovsky coat of arms " Grzhimala ". The eldest son of the governor of Podolsk and the Hetman of the full crown Martin Casanovsky ( 1563 - 1636 ) and Katarzyna Starzhitskaya.
In 1627, Dominic Casanovsky was elected to the Crown Tribunal in Radom . In 1632, at the electoral parliament, he supported the candidacy of Vladislav Vazy for the Polish royal throne. He received the Boguslavsky elder from his father.
He participated in the Russian-Polish war for Smolensk (1632-1634) , during which he was wounded in September 1633 . In 1636, Dominic Alexander Casanovsky received from his father the Zvenigorod headman and two estates in the Chernigov Voivodeship . In 1637 he became a full crown clerk.
In 1637, Dominic Alexander Kazanovsky participated in the campaign of the Crown Army under the command of the Hetman of the Great Crown Nikolai Pototsky against the rebellious Ukrainian Cossacks led by Karp Skidan and Pavel Pavlyuk . Headed the regiment, consisting of 4 Cossack, 4 hussar and 2 dragoon banners. December 16, 1637 participated and distinguished himself in the battle with the Cossacks near Kumeyki , where he was seriously wounded. In 1638, he took part in the campaign of the Polish army against the rebel units under the command of Zaporizhzhya hetmans Jacob Ostrinitsa and Dmitry Guni . In November 1646, Dominic Alexander Casanovsky received the post of governor of Bratslavsky .
In 1648 he received permission from the Crown Diet to build a Catholic church in Boguslav.
Family
In 1640 he married Anna Potocka (d. 1695 ), daughter of the Bratslav governor Stefan Potocki ( 1568 - 1631 ) and Maria Amalia Mogilyanka ( 1591 - 1638 ).
Children:
- Marianna Casanovskaya ( 1643 - 1687 ), wife from 1658 of the future Kastelian of Krakow and hetman of the great crown, Stanislav Jan Jablonowski (1634-1702).
- In turn, the daughter of Marianna Casanovskaya and Stanislav Yan Yablonovsky (the granddaughter of Dominic Alexander Casanovsky), Anna Yablonovskaya ( 1660 - 1727 ), married in 1676 the subcarpathia of the great crown Rafil Leshchinsky ( 1650 - 1703 ) and became the mother of the King of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Stanis ( 1677 - 1766 ).
After the death of her husband, Anna Pototskaya married twice:

- For the third time, Anna Pototskaya married the cadet of Sadetsky and the governor of Kiev, Mikhail Stanislavsky (d. 1668 ).
