Parykinsky volost

Parykinsky volost - volost in the Egorievsky district of the Ryazan province , which existed until 1922.

History

Parykinsky volost was formed in 1861, in accordance with the project of the volost division of the Ryazan province, proposed in 1850. The volost government was located in the village of Parykino (hence the name). At the beginning of 1922, Yegoryevsky Uyezd was included in the Moscow province, and on June 22, 1922 the volost was abolished, the villages of the volost were divided between Dvoenskaya and Pochinkovskaya volosts [1] .

Composition

In 1885, the Parykinsky volost included 2 villages and 12 villages.

In the villages of Tyushino and Vorovo, only a part of the peasants belonged to the Parykinsky volost. In Tyushino there is 1 community of state peasants (~ 2/3 villages), and in Vorov (Old Vorovo) 2 communities out of eight (<1/10 of the village population). The remaining peasants of these villages ( formerly serfs ) were assigned to the Gorsky volost .

Land

The population was 20 rural communities - all state peasants . In 12 communities, land ownership was communal, in the rest it was local. In societies with a communal form of land tenure, the land was divided according to revision souls . Meadows in 9 communities were shared simultaneously with arable land, in other communities - annually.

Many communities rented non-permanent, mostly meadow, land. Householders with rental land accounted for about 56% of the total number of households in the volost.

Agriculture

The soil was sandy, less often clayey or loamy. There were few good meadows, mostly marshy or dry. The forest is more wood, in 5 communities it was drill, and in 4 communities it was not at all. Peasants planted rye, oats, buckwheat and potatoes. In some communities, oats were not sown. They drowned with firewood and branches for the most part from their own forests.

Local and local crafts

The main local crafts were carpentry, weaving nanki and going to shepherds in the surrounding villages. In 1885, there were 210 carpenters, 116 men and 334 women weaving nanku, 188 shepherds, 42 tailors, 22 shoemakers, 20 stove makers, 39 people weaved bast shoes, 23 artisans.

315 men and 11 women were engaged in latrine industries. Of these, most carpenters are 222 people. They went to work mainly in the Moscow province.

Infrastructure

In 1885 there were 7 forges in the volost, 1 water mill, 1 sheepskin establishment, 1 matting factory, 2 dyes. 1 shoe establishment, 1 bakery, 1 rennsky cellar, 2 taverns, 6 drinking establishments, 6 tea houses and 2 small shops. There were 4 rural zemstvo schools (the village of Knyazhevo and the villages of Parykino, Tyushino and Old Vorovo).
