Biography
He started playing basketball (center forward) in 1926 inLenrayone , "Bolshevik", and after the war - in "Pishevik" [3] .
Was a coach: since 1932 coached the team TF , since 1936 - the Odessa State University , and from 1937 to 1941 - the Odessa Medical Institute . Was a playing coach TO .
He also worked as a judge: since 1937 - a judge of the republican category, and since 1939 - an all-union category [3] .
Then he was in administrative work. Chairman of the basketball section in 1937-1941, 1945-1962 and 1967-1971.
Fedor Iosifovich for almost three decades led the Central Stadium of the Black Sea Shipping Company . During this period, the main sports arena of Odessa was reconstructed several times. The number of seats in the stands increased to 50,000, and artificial lighting and an electronic scoreboard appeared.
He died in 1993, was buried in Odessa [4] .
The son-in-law of F. I. Futerman is a footballer and trainer Semen Altman , a grandson - Gennady Altman , a professional footballer, defended the colors of the Odessa “Chernomorets” [5] .
