Dominic Michael Slushka (ca. 1655 - 31 January 1713 ) - statesman and military leader of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania , Colonel , Recetzky , Surazhky and Borisov , Warlord of Polotsk ( 1686 - 1713 ), Marshals of the Tribunal ON ( 1681 , 1690 , 1695 ).

Biography
The representative of the Lithuanian noble family Slushkov coat of arms " Ostoy ". The second son of the Podkarbia of the outhouse Lithuanian Bohuslav Jerzy Slushki (c. 1620 - 1658 ) and Anna Pototskaya (died 1695 ). The eldest son is the hetman of Lithuania in Lithuania Yuzef Bohuslav Slushka (c. 1652 - 1701 ).
He belonged to the elders of Rechitsa , Surazh and Borisov . In 1686, Dominik Mikhail Slushka was appointed governor of Polotsk and became a senator of the Commonwealth . Three times he was elected a marshal of the Tribunal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ( 1681 , 1690 , 1695 ).
Together with his elder brother, hetman, full Lithuanian, Józef Bohuslav , Dominik, Mikhail Slushka, opposed the dominion of Sapieha in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . In November 1700, the governor of Polotsk Dominik Mikhail Slushka was one of the commanders of the Lithuanian gentry militia in the battle with Sapieha near Olkenik .
In 1690 began the construction of a palace in Vilna , known as the palace of Slushkov . The construction was led by Italian architects Michelangelo Palloni and Pietro Perti . The construction of the palace lasted 10 years. In 1705 and 1709, the Russian Tsar Peter the Great visited the palace of Slushkov.
Family
He was married to Constantia, the daughter of the governor of Smolensk , Prince Gregory Kazimir Podberezsky (died 1677 ), from whose marriage he had four sons: Bogdan, Evstaha, Bohuslav and Zhigimont.
