Koydanov ( Koydenov ) - Hassidic dynasty , founded by Rabbi Shlomo Haim Perlov (Solomon Haim Perlov) in 1833 in the town of Koydanov (modern Dzyarzhynsk , Belarus ).
According to the encyclopedia of the Jews of Eastern Europe YIVO , Koydanov was the smallest of the three Lithuanian Hasidic dynasties , the rest were Slonim and Karlin-Stolin . On the eve of the Second World War, its centers of influence were Koydanov and Minsk [1] . After the rebbe and most of the Hasidim were killed during the Holocaust , the dynasty was re-founded in 1948 in Tel Aviv , where it still flourishes today.
