PJSC Khimprom is a Russian enterprise manufacturing large-capacity chemicals. Headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in Novocheboksarsk . At present (Q2 2016), the main income comes from the production of hydrogen peroxide, caustic, chlorine products, rubber chemicals used in the manufacture of tires by both Russian and leading foreign manufacturers.

History

The construction of the Cheboksary Chemical Plant began in 1960. In 1964, for the first time in the USSR, the production of dyes for nitron fiber was mastered at a chemical plant. In 1965-1966, the USSR launched the first production of light stabilizers for OA and OM benzene, as well as the production of active synthetic dyes for cotton, linen, silk. In 1967-1968, the basic production of chlorine and caustic was mastered, followed by chloromethanes , chlorophos , and aniline .

The plant was built to produce chemical weapons - ammunition filled with chemical warfare agents, masking these industries with the release of chemical products to meet the needs of the population - synthetic dyes [2] .

In 1971-1975, 17 production facilities were put into operation, production of 41 types of new products was mastered.

In the workshop No. 83 of the so-called third production, the ammunition was filled with the main products of the enterprise - toxic substances. In 1972, industrial production of V-gases was established here [2] .

In the 1980s, production of organosilicon monomers and polymer products based on them was mastered, production of organosilicon varnishes KO-810, KO-075, resins, silicon tetrachloride , trichlorosilane , phenyltrichlorosilane , hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid , ethyl silicate-40, tetraethoxysilane was launched.

In 1994, the production association was incorporated, created by Khimprom OJSC. In 1996-1997, the company created a number of joint ventures.

In 2010, the reconstruction of the production of hydrogen peroxide . In 2013, the company began production of a new product - additives for mineral oils TsD-7 LF.

On December 15, 2014, PJSC “Khimprom” included the plant of JSC “Percarbonate”, the only Russian manufacturer of environmentally friendly sodium percarbonate bleach.

In 2015, the expansion of production of hydrogen peroxide to 95 thousand tons per year in terms of 30% concentration began, the production volume reached 78 thousand tons per year in terms of 30% concentration.

In 2016, the implementation of the project for the production of isopropyl alcohol, calcium hypochlorite began.

The company produces inorganic products - hydrogen peroxide , industrial sodium hydrosulfite , calcium chloride , sulfuric acid , hydrochloric acid (from the exhaust gases of organochlorine production), caustic soda , phosphorus trichloride , phosphorus oxychloride , liquid chlorine , chlorobenzene , sodium hypochlorite , hydrochloric acid , as well as organic products ( aniline , N -benzenamine, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, dichloromethane , 2-softener, liquid chlorinated paraffins, polyamine , chloroform ), organophosphorus series products chelators, surfactants eschestva and technical detergents, silicones products.
