Story
Peter really wants to ride a new attraction , but he is not allowed there because of the presence of excess weight . Peter is very upset and intends to go to Ohio to ride there. By deception, he enters the attraction, wearing a corset . When you try to start the slide, they break and Peter and his family are forced to go back home. On the way, their car breaks down, they have no choice but to settle in a town inhabited by the Amish . This people does not use electricity and technology, lives according to old customs.
Meg falls in love with one of the Amish - Eli, but his father is against relations with a foreign woman. Meg begs his father to speak with Eli's father, but he only spoils everything, and the Amish expel the Griffins from their settlement. It turns out that Eli also escapes with the Griffins, explaining this act with his love for Meg.
Arriving home, Family Guy understand that the Amish declared war on them. Peter gathers his friends and drives back to the Amish settlement. Fortunately, it all ends well, Eli explains to Meg that he should stay home.
The episode ends with a trip of all the heroes of the episode (including Amish) on a roller coaster.

- Critically, the episode was received mostly positively.
- Michael Moore gave the episode 7.5 points out of 10, saying: “Although some say that the Family Guy have already grown, Peter still at least remains my favorite character for me and I love almost everything what he does, how he gets out of different situations ... " . [3] Concluding his review, Moore nevertheless explained: “... I still have the same point of view that I hold regarding all episodes of this season: nothing new is happening here . ” [3]
- Kevin McFarland of AV Club praised the episode by comparing it to similar storylines in The Simpsons . [4] He also compared the episode in the type of reporting to the comics. He eventually rated the episode B-. [four]
