World One is an ultra high-rise skyscraper under construction located in the city of Mumbai , India . [4] The building is located in the Parel area [5] on a plot of 17.5 acres, [6] which previously belonged to a cotton mill. [1] The Lodha Group acquired the site for $ 42 million. [1] The total cost of the project is estimated at $ 340 million, it is assumed that construction will be completed in 2018, [7] while World One should become the highest residential building in the world [8] if the Pentominium is not unfrozen [9] .

It is assumed that the building will receive a certificate from Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design , issued by the most energy-efficient buildings. [10] The project was designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners ( eng. ), And the designer was Leslie E. Robertson Associates . [11] Prices for apartments in the building will start at $ 1.3 million, while the most expensive apartments are estimated at $ 8.5 million.
