World One is an ultra high-rise skyscraper under construction located in the city of Mumbai , India . ^[4] The building is located in the Parel area ^[5] on a plot of 17.5 acres, ^{[6] which} previously belonged to a cotton mill. ^[1] The Lodha Group acquired the site for $ 42 million. ^[1] The total cost of the project is estimated at $ 340 million, it is assumed that construction will be completed in 2018, ^[7] while World One should become the highest residential building in the world ^[8] if the Pentominium is not unfrozen ^[9] .
