Biography

The representative of the Polish-Ukrainian gentry clan Danilovichi coat of arms " Sas ." The son of the Russian governor Jan Danilovich ( 1570 - 1628 ) from his second marriage with Sofia Zholkevskaya (c. 1590 - 1634 ).

He was educated at European universities . In 1631, at a meeting of the Sejm , Stanislav Danilovich chopped off the elder A. Kalinovsky with three fingers on his right hand. For this, the marshal's court imposed a banition on him (deprivation of honor).

Constantly fought with the Crimean Tatars, participating in the reflection of the Tatar raids on Ukrainian lands. In 1632, Stanislav Danilovich with his court regiment participated in the Smolensk war with the Russian state ( 1632 - 1634 ). For merits in the Russian-Polish war, Banitsa S. Danilovich was canceled. After the war he lived in Korsun . In 1636 he sold the town of Zvenigorodok to the governor of Podolsk, Adam Casanovsky .

He was married to Marina Semashko, having received in a dowry the village of Khupkovskoye and part of the Koblinsky volost of the Volyn Voivodeship (2507 smokes ).

In 1636, Stanislav Danilovich placed his guard in Korsun in Cossack yards, which caused tension in the city. He took the settlements from the peasants and placed the old-fashioned landowners in them. He also expelled the monks of the Mikulinsky monastery, which owned the Dnieper lands from the towns founded by the Starostin landowners. During a campaign against the Tatars in the steppe, S. Danilovich was captured by the Budzak Murza Kantemir . The sons of Kantemir killed Danilovich, taking revenge for the death of one of the sons of Kantemir near Burshtin . The body of S. Danilovich was delivered to Zholkva and buried there.
