Miguel Beninkasa ( Spanish: Miguel Benincasa ; 1889 - Unknown) - Uruguayan footballer who acted as a defender. Two-time champion of South America (1916 and 1917).

Career
Together with the River Plate Football Club, Miguel won the Uruguay Championship in 1910 [1] . This success was repeated in 1913 and 1914. Miguel also played for Penarol in 1921.
Miguel Beninkas took part in the first in the history of the championship of South America in 1916. Uruguay won the tournament, while Beninkas played only in the last match against Argentina .
The following year, still as a player of FC River Plate, was a member of the CSA-1917, where Uruguay became the champion of the continent for the second time in a row. However, this time Miguel did not play in any of the matches.
Miguel's younger brother, José Beninkas , was also a soccer player and played for the Uruguay national team from 1910 to 1928. In four meetings in 1914-1915, Jose led the national team with the captain's armband, that is, in fact at the time was considered a playing coach [2] [3] .
