Biography
Born on August 4, 1873 in the village of Rosu-Krenvik in Wallonia .
In 1897 he was ordained a priest, in 1906 he entered the abbey of Mont Cesar in Leuven .
Since 1921 he was a professor of theology at the College of St. Anselm in Rome .
In 1925 he founded the Benedictine monastery of the Byzantine rite in Belgium , first in Ame-sur-Meuse , then in Cheveton .
In the late 1920s he was removed from the leadership of the monastery, until the 1950s he served in various monasteries, mainly in France . Subsequently, it was restored in the monastery of Shevton founded by him.
He died on January 11, 1960 in the Shevton Monastery.
