Biography
Brendan grew up in a creative family of Yvonne and Bruce Cowell in a suburb of Sydney. At a young age, he already arranged theatrical performances for his loved ones. At the age of 8, he had the first desire to connect his life with acting, when he was expecting his older sister Jackie (who later became the star of the girl group Girlfriend ) from classes in a theater studio. Soon he took part in the filming of a commercial. In adolescence, a handsome and talented guy was repeatedly used in advertising and TV productions. Cowell graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst with a bachelor's degree in theater art. For a long time, Brendan wanted to do journalism.
For the first time, Brandan Cowell appeared on the screens in the series Water Rats (1996) as Jonathan Freeman. The fame was brought to the actor by the film “The Noise” (2007), the military drama “Below the Hill 60”, the television series “Borgia” and the romantic comedy “I Love You” (2010). Since 2010, Brendan Cowell has been living in Sydney.
Best known as an actor, Brendan is the author of a number of scripts and plays.
