Wu Jian ( Chinese ex. 吴佳妮 , pinyin : Wú Jiānī , b . April 23, 1966) is a Chinese gymnast, Olympic medalist.

Wu Jiang was born in 1966 in Suzhou , Jiangsu . In 1973, she began attending an amateur sports school in Shanghai , in 1976 she entered the Shanghai national team, and in 1977, the national team.

In 1981, Wu Jiang won the bronze medal of the World Championships in log exercises (and silver in the team). In 1982, she won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals of the Asian Games. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, Wu Jian won the bronze medal as part of the team.

At the end of her sports career, Wu Jiang moved to Canada, where in 1986 she married the renowned Chinese gymnast Li Yueju ; the couple later moved to the USA.
