Life and career
Danielle Alonso was born in New York in a family of emigrants from Puerto Rico and Peru [1] . In the nineties, she worked as a model at the Ford Models agency, in parallel with which she began her acting career on television [1] .
Alonso is best known for her roles in television. She had minor roles in the series “ One Tree Hill ” and “ Friday Night Lights ” before she played the lead role in the 2010 series My Generation, closed after two episodes, [1] . She gained wider fame thanks to her role as Nora Clayton in the first season of the NBC series Revolution . Her character was killed in the final of the first season, and shortly afterwards, she was invited to one of the central roles in another NBC series “ Night Shift ” [2] .
In 2015, Alonso had a minor role in the BET series “ Being Mary Jane ” [3] . In 2016, she began acting on TNT 's Animal Kingdom series with Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman [4] .
