Natural monuments - natural objects of scientific, historical or cultural, educational and aesthetic value (waterfalls, geological outcrops, unique trees, etc.) are protected by the state. All natural monuments are subject to strict protection, should be limited and completely withdrawn from economic use. They can only serve for scientific and educational purposes, as well as for cultural recreation.
On the territory of the Artinsky urban district , 9 natural monuments have been allocated [1] , each of them has its own unique meaning and its unique beauty.
By resolution of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region on January 17, 2001, a list of specially protected territories located in the Sverdlovsk Region was approved [2] .
On the territory of Artinsky district these are the following objects:
