Career

Pereda was born in the Medina de Pomar , Burgos, Castile and Leon. However, he grew up and was brought up in Valmaceda , the Basque Country [3] . Pereda was the captain of the provincial youth teams. He began his career at Indaucha , and then moved to Real Madrid .

In a creamy T-shirt, Pereda appeared in only two La Liga games, scoring one goal in a match against Real Zaragoza. During his stay in the Spanish capital, he was also leased to Valladolid [3] . In 1959, Jesus moved to Seville , for which he scored 11 goals in the first season.

In the summer of 1961, Pereda joined Barcelona and played in 293 official matches for eight years, scoring 104 goals [3] . During this time, he twice won the Spanish Cup , scoring the first goal in the final of the 1963 Cup.

At the age of 31, he joined Sabadell , in which he replaced. Completed his playing career Pereda in Mallorca .

In the 1995/1996 season at Jerez Pereda, he only once worked as a head coach at the club level.

He played 15 matches for the Spanish national team and scored 6 goals. Pereda began his career on May 15, 1960 in Spain in a match against England. In 1964, he won the European Championship . Jesus last played for the national team on October 27, 1968 in a match against the national team of Yugoslavia.
