Pikhtin Alexander Nikolaevich (born June 27, 1939 , Leningrad ) is a specialist in the field of semiconductor optics, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences (1980), professor (1982). The main direction of scientific activity is connected with the study of effects caused by "order" and "disorder" in semiconductor solid solutions, heterostructures and quantum-dimensional layers.
In 1963 he graduated from LETI . After graduation, he worked at the Department of Dielectrics and Semiconductors (now the Department of Micro and Nanoelectronics ).
Prepared 28 candidates and doctors of sciences. The obtained scientific results are used to develop new diagnostic methods for semiconductor structures. In 1988, he organized and led a special laboratory of optical methods. Chairman of the section "Optics of semiconductors" Optical Society. D. S. Rozhdestvensky.
The author of more than 200 scientific papers.
