Saryozek ( Kazakh. Saryөzek , until 2002 - Volskoye) - a village in the Osakarovsky district of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the rural district of Saryozek. It is located about 40 km southeast of the regional center, the village of Osakarovka . The KATO code is 355635100 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the village population was 1104 people (537 men and 567 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1228 people lived in the village (589 men and 639 women) [2] .
History
It was founded in 1909 by German immigrants from the Volga colony of Kukkus (Volskoye, now the village of Privolzhskoye, Rivne district, Saratov region) [3] .
