Geography

The village stands on the right high, above 30 m of the Ukhra River, upstream and east of the center of the rural settlement of Arefino village at a distance of 5 km in a straight line. On the opposite right, the same high bank, downstream, at a distance of about 700 m to the south-west is the village of Spas-Ukhra . A road connecting Cheryomushki down the right bank connecting the village with the center of the rural settlement. The nearest village in this direction is Krekovo, about 4 km away, and the road passes through a forest. On the east side of the village, upstream in a deep ravine flows a small stream, up to 4 km long, separating the village of Cheryomushki from the village of Sedlovo . Another stream up to 2 km long flows west of Cheryomushki, crossing the road to Krekovo. To the north of Cheryomushki there is a vast uninhabited forest in the Voslomka , Voguy river basin up to the Keshtom river valley [2] .

History

In 1965, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the RSFSR, the village of Kobylino was renamed Cheryomushki [3] .
