Nepal Airlines flight 555 was a short domestic scheduled flight from Pokhara to Joms, lasting about 20 minutes, operated by Nepal Airlines . On May 16, 2013, de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter , performing this flight, made an emergency landing at Jomsom Airport. Seven out of 21 passengers on board were seriously injured. Investigation

Impact on an airline
The accident left Nepal Airlines with just two operational aircraft for domestic flights. The airline said it plans to replace engines on three other aircraft of the same model, which are currently decommissioned, but it will take at least five months.
