Setting
The government of Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk crashed in May 2013 after eight deputies left the National Unity Party and the parliament declared a vote of no confidence to the government. On June 23, Sibel Seeber was appointed Acting Prime Minister, she formed a government consisting of the Republican Turkish Party, the Democratic Party and the Communal Democratic Party. The new government was approved by parliament [2] .
Election System
Fifty members of the Assembly are elected by proportional system. In five multi-member districts, the electoral threshold is 5%. Voters can either vote for party lists or individual candidates. If they choose the latter, they can cast as many votes as there are seats in the district. [3]
