Biography

Wilson Pittoni, whose hometown is San Antonio, got to the Libertad Club in 2008 [3] . In 2009, he played for the Sol de America and Tacuari clubs [3] . The following year he returned to Libertad [2] . That season, Pittony played thirty-six games in the First Division and scored two goals, which allowed the team to win Klausuru 2010. At the end of 2010, he moved to the Brazilian Serie A Figueirense club.

In January 2013, Pittony transferred to Asuncion Olympia [4] . He helped the team reach the final of the 2013 Libertadores Cup, being one of the team leaders. He scored 3 goals in the tournament - 2 against Deportivo Lara at the group stage, as well as a goal from a free-kick into the goal of Atletico Mineiro in the first final match . The score was 2-0, but in the second leg, the Brazilians managed to win with the same score, and then prevail in the penalty shootout .

In the first half of 2014 he played for the Brazilian Bahia, then on loan again he played for Olympia. He returned to Salvador on January 1, 2015.

In August 2011, Pittoni was called up by coach Francisco Arce to the national team [5] .
