Gu Gu Ganmo ( Jap. Gu-Gu ガ ン モ Gu-Gu Gammo ) is a shonen - manga authored by Fujihiko Hosono. Published by Shogakukan in Weekly Shonen Sunday . A total of 12 volumes have been issued. Based on the manga, Toei Animation released an anime series, which was broadcast on Fuji TV on March 18, 1984 to March 17, 1985 . In total, 50 anime episodes have been released. The series was also dubbed in French . [1] Based on a 2006 Asahi TV poll , anime Gu Gu Ganmo was on the list of 100 favorite animes in Japan . [2]

Story
The concept of the plot is much similar to Doraemon and Obake no Q-Taro , according to which the small and mischievous alien Ganmo, who looks like a chicken, comes to Earth and makes friends with Hanpeyta, who helps him adapt to life on Earth. Ganmo does not want to appear in the eyes of his new guardians as a parasite and a bummer, and therefore decides to become an “errand chicken”, helping Hanpet in every way in the household, but because of his clumsiness, Ganmo only spoils everything and constantly involves others in unpleasant situations.
