Kireta - a lake in the Kasli district of the Chelyabinsk region , near the northern outskirts of the town of Kasli , is part of the Kasli-Irtyash system of lakes . The name translates from Bashkir as “stubborn”, “wayward”. The lake is connected by a channel with the Sungul and Big Kasli lakes, the Kiretinsky bridge is located above the channel. The lake is very changeable, because it is often exposed to the north-westerly winds. Fresh water. The forest grows along the banks: pine, birch, bird cherry, alder, willow and hawthorn. The shores are sloping, covered with stones in places and overgrown with sedge and reeds [2] . The bottom of the lake is mostly muddy. The transparency of the water is low and is about two meters. Fish: crucian carp, perch, tench, ruff, roach, ide, pike, whitefish [3] . Herons nest near the pond, there are many hedgehogs in the forest.

On Lake Kireta about twenty islands. In the center of the lake is the island of Iron, it is surrounded by three small rocky island. One of the most picturesque places on Kireta Lake is the Mikeshin Peninsula [3] .
