United States Army Cyber Command (Army Cyber Command , Army Cyber) - a component of the US Cyber Command in the US Army . It was created on October 1, 2010 on the basis of the Second US Army [1] in order to organize a single center for army information operations and operations in cyberspace [2] .

Tasks
The tasks of the US Army Cyber Command are to plan, conduct, coordinate, integrate and synchronize operations using military computer networks , as well as protect these networks. The Second Army will conduct operations in cyberspace in support of the full range of military operations of the United States and its allies in order to ensure their freedom of action in cyberspace, and to create obstacles for adversaries in cyberspace [1] [3] .
The Second Army will focus on research and development in the field of operations in cyberspace, as well as interaction with the Command of Training and Doctrines of the United States Army and other bodies to improve all aspects of cyber warfare [2] [4] .

Subordinate units:
- Technical Directorate of Military Computer Networks / 9th Army Communications Command
- Army Intelligence and Security Directorate (INSCOM) will be under the operational control of the Army Cyber Command in cyber war operations [5] [6] .
- First Directorate of Information Operations
- 780th Military Intelligence Brigade .
History
By October 2009, the U.S. Army Cyber Command had reached its original scope of operations through its collaboration with the Space Forces Command and Missile Defense / US Strategic Command (USASMDC / ARSTRAT) with the support of the above subordinate units. Officially, the Army’s Cyber Command was created on October 1, 2010 under the command of Major General Rhett A. Hernandez [3] [7] [8] [9] .
