Cofana spectra (lat.) - a species of jumping insects of the genus Cofana from the family of cicadas ( Cicadellidae ). Widely distributed in the tropics of the Old World: Africa , Madagascar, Southeast Asia , Australia . The length of the males is 7–8.3 mm, the females are 9–11 mm in whitish color (the head is fawn-yellow with black marks). Pronotum and scutellum are greenish-yellow. They feed on juices from plants of the Poaceae family [2] [3] .
