Company History

The company was created on April 15, 1999 by the famous Russian chess player Anatoly Karpov [1] .

In 2004, Petromir LLC became the owner of the Angaro-Lensky field in the Irkutsk region . In the same year, part of the company was sold to Stroytransgaz . Petromir-Burenie LLC was established to explore the field [2] .

In 2006, Petromir registered estimated reserves of the field. According to the data provided, raw material reserves amount to 1.273 trillion. cubic meters in categories C1 + C2 [2] .

In 2011, as part of the restructuring, Stroytransgaz sold Pretromir to shareholders. Thus, 50% of the shares went to the Volga Resources management group.

Currently, 50% of the shares of Petromir LLC is owned by Volga Group , the other 50% (according to the Vedomosti newspaper) is owned by Bashkir businessman Anatoly Oruzhev [3] .

Assets

The company owns two gas condensate fields in the Irkutsk region of the Russian Federation:

  • Angaro-Lenskoye field [4]
  • Left Bank Field [4]
