History

Until 2013, the village was the administrative center of the abolished Garshinsky rural district [2] .

Population

In 1999, the population of the village was 598 people (313 men and 285 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 428 people lived in the village (225 men and 203 women) [3] .
